February Pending Home Sales Rise

Washington, March 28, 2011 – Pending home sales increased in February but with notable regional variations, according to the National Association of REALTORS®.The Pending Home Sales Index,* a forward-looking indicator, rose 2.1 percent to 90.8, based on contracts signed in February, from 88.9 in January. The index is 8.2 percent below 98.9 recorded in February 2010. The data reflects contracts and not closings, which normally occur with a lag time of one or two months.Click Here

  We met Goran as we were beginning to look for a new home last spring. At the time we were planning to do a full renovation, and Goran was extremely helpful broker & construction adviser. We ended up finding a turnkey home in a neighborhood we loved, and the deal went very smoothly due to all the expert advice we received from Goran on negotiations, inspection, etc. While the new house was under contract, we decided to list our current home and Goran was instrumental in getting it sold in less than a month finding our future buyer from an open house (all during the dreaded end of year timeframe when things seem to really down).
